Golden Gate and North Naples builder leftover keypads are not ADT until you order monitoring
Inland Collier and North Naples buyers search “builder alarm Golden Gate,” “leftover keypad Estates,” and “is the new-construction alarm ADT” because the option sheet said security and the hallway has plastic. The option sheet was not monitoring. A builder leftover keypad is not ADT until someone orders monitoring for it. Home Security Systems Naples takes that order on (239) 439-6005. SafeStreets is the ADT Authorized Provider that installs or reactivates. ADT monitors 24/7.
Photograph the panel. Do not assume the closing checklist was a live account. Do not assume the yard sign in the garage is a monitoring contract. This article is the new-build version of a leftover in Golden Gate (34116), Golden Gate Estates (34117 and 34120), North Naples new construction, Ave Maria, and Orangetree. The phone number is the same. This is Naples, Florida — not a mill of every acre-lot plat in the state, and not Naples, Texas.
What “included alarm” meant on the Golden Gate option sheet
In Golden Gate 34116 and on Estates acre lots, builders often hang a keypad, a few door contacts, and a motion as part of a package. Sometimes a subcontractor did it in a day to clear a punch list. Sometimes a national builder’s preferred vendor did it and left a sticker for a company you have never heard of. The house closed. You got keys. Nobody put the system on a 24/7 monitoring center in your name. That is the usual story, not the rare one.
An included alarm satisfied a sales talking point. It did not satisfy occupancy. The house sits empty toward Santa Barbara Boulevard, toward Immokalee Road, toward Collier Boulevard, toward CCPS at Golden Gate High or Palmetto Ridge, toward a North Naples job you still commute to. A dark keypad during those hours is a dark keypad. ADT is not watching. SafeStreets has not been there. You have not signed a monitoring agreement.
If the builder’s vendor actually did start a trial, it is still not this product until you order on the 239 line. Trials expire. Accounts stay in the builder’s name. Stickers lie. Photos and a quote do not. Promotional packages still start at $53.99/mo* for ADT Secure+, then Smart+ $63.99*, Complete+ $74.99*, with a $99 install on many plans. Typically 36 months. Early termination fees apply. Credit approval applies. Offers are for homeowners. The four numbers live on monitoring packages.
Photograph the builder panel the day you get keys
Three photos: keypad straight on, inside the cover if it opens, and the can in the utility room, closet, or structured-media board. New-builds hide the interesting part in a low-voltage box, not on the hallway drywall. Include any serial sticker. Do not factory-reset. Do not call the 800 number on the plastic and cancel an account you do not understand. Call (239) 439-6005 with the ZIP and the photos.
34116 is Golden Gate. 34117 and 34120 are Golden Gate Estates — one of the largest residential plats in the country, acre lots, long driveways, no city limit pretending to be a patrol. 34109, 34110, and 34119 catch a lot of North Naples new construction. 34142 is Ave Maria and Immokalee. 34120 also covers Orangetree. The desk that would take a dispatch is Collier Sheriff for unincorporated addresses, not the City of Naples false-alarm desk. We still confirm the ZIP. A 34102 Old Naples mailing that shops Golden Gate is not CCSO by default, and a 34116 house is not City of Naples paper because you drive US-41 to dinner.
If the painter or the window-treatment crew wants the hallway clean, photograph first. A builder panel moved six inches is an install-day job. A builder panel in the trash is a full replace you did not need. Keep the plastic on the wall until we say otherwise. The Naples security guide is the local desk map. FAQs is the leftover-keypad short version.
Golden Gate 34116 is not Golden Gate Estates 34117 and 34120
People say Golden Gate when the mail says Estates, and they say Naples when the city limit is ten miles west. Golden Gate 34116 is a denser unincorporated community: smaller lots, more two-stories, Golden Gate High empties, Santa Barbara Boulevard as a commute, not a guard. See Golden Gate. Golden Gate Estates is the giant acre-lot plat — 34117 on the west side, 34120 stretching east toward Orangetree and Ave Maria. Longer driveways. More sliders. More outbuildings people forget to mention. See Golden Gate Estates.
The leftover keypad story is the same. The occupancy is not. An Estates house empty toward a North Naples job is empty longer. A 34116 house empty toward Golden Gate High is empty on a school bell. Both still need monitoring in your name. Both still file Collier Sheriff paper, not City of Naples false-alarm fees, unless the address is actually inside the city. Most of these plats are not.
We will be tedious about the ZIP on purpose. The leftover keypad does not know the line. You have to. The specialist would rather be boring than send you to the City of Naples false-alarm desk for an Estates acre lot, or skip CCSO registration because you shop Fifth Avenue on weekends.
North Naples new construction, Ave Maria, and Orangetree leftovers
North Naples new construction along Immokalee Road, Livingston, and the 34109/34110/34119 belt hangs the same plastic. HOA plats are common. Camera rules are common. The leftover is still not ADT. Photograph it. Bring the covenant if you want video. Indoor sensors do not need a design review. HOA camera rules is that article. Do not skip monitoring because the board is picky about floodlights.
Ave Maria 34142 is Eastern Collier. New-builds, a town center, Donahue Academy calendars, and CCPS households that empty toward Immokalee High. Confirm Collier Sheriff. Do not file City of Naples paper because the marketing said Naples. See Ave Maria. Orangetree 34120 sits on the Estates edge with its own leftover story plus a school-day empty. See Orangetree.
Same SafeStreets install. Same ADT 24/7. Same “not live until you order” sentence. Other coverage is not a next-morning promise. We say the date on the call. We do not mill every inland hamlet as a city. We do schedule real plats in this window when you own the house.
Builder leftover versus a prior owner’s ADT
A Golden Gate resale can be either. A brand-new North Naples house is almost always the leftover. A five-year-old plat can be a leftover that the first owner never activated, or a cancelled account from a relocation. The photo plus the occupancy story tells us. “We just closed with the builder” is the leftover. “The last family said they had ADT” is the resale. Both still need a new agreement in your name. Promotional rates require a new monitoring agreement — typically 36 months.
Tenants in an inland rental do not get the homeowner promotion. Landlords who own the new-build can order. House versus condo still matters in townhome plats off Immokalee Road. If the association owns a gate camera, that is not your door sensor. A gate is not 24/7 monitoring. Communities is the list of neighborhoods we actually write, not a mill.
Relocations dump leftover stickers into every inland hallway. The sticker is a previous company’s phone number. It is not your registration. It is not your monitoring agreement. Photograph the panel. Order on (239) 439-6005. File in your name at the office that matches the new address.
Unincorporated Collier is CCSO paper, not the City of Naples desk
Inside the City of Naples, false-alarm fees are $0 / $10 / $75 in a six-month window. We have not found a published annual user-permit dollar amount for city addresses, and we will not invent one. Almost none of Golden Gate, the Estates, Ave Maria, or Orangetree is the city. Unincorporated Collier requires the owner to register with the Sheriff’s False Alarm Bureau. The first two registered false alarms in 180 days are $0, then published fines. That is CCSO, not Naples Police, and not Marco Island Police.
Bonita Springs is Lee County. Confirm that sheriff desk from a 34134 or 34135 ZIP. Do not drop a Collier form on a Bonita closing table. Do not mill Fort Myers as if this is that city’s site. Naples versus Marco versus Bonita is the comparison. We name the office. You file it. The leftover keypad does not file itself.
Give the registration or confirmation to ADT after you have it. A builder sticker in someone else’s name is how dispatch gets a dead phone number. File after the system is live in your name. Reverse that order and you register a system that is not live, or you go live on a system the sheriff still has in the seller’s name.
What the quote sounds like on a new-build
You still hear a monthly number, an install charge, and the agreement. Reusing the builder’s contacts can keep the install in that $99 conversation. Adding a doorbell on Complete+ can raise it. Ask. Count the openings the builder actually covered. New-builds look simple from the street and hide a lanai slider, a garage man-door, a pool cage door, and on Estates lots a shed or a guest house. We do not price the granite. We price the openings you want watched while you are at work.
Cameras yes or no is the next question. Many North Naples plats have HOAs that limit street-facing cameras. A doorbell in the existing button hole is often easier. Indoor sensors do not need a design review. Estates acre lots sometimes have more camera room and still should start with doors. A four-camera grid on a leftover that was never monitored is how you skip the product you actually needed.
Call (239) 439-6005. There is no form. A specialist has to hear whether this is a 34116 two-story, a 34120 acre lot, a 34109 North Naples HOA, or a 34142 Ave Maria new-build. Occupancy, not a floor-plan tour. Porch packages is the stoop article if boxes are why you called. This page is the plastic already on the wall.
School-day empties are why these plats actually call
Golden Gate High empties 34116. Palmetto Ridge empties a lot of Estates and Orangetree streets. Immokalee High empties Ave Maria and eastern Collier. Aubrey Rogers, Gulf Coast, Barron Collier, and Naples High empty North Naples and in-town households that still have inland leftover cousins. The builder keypad does not watch the slider at 1 p.m. because a punch-list sub hung it. You order monitoring because the house is empty toward those schools, toward Immokalee Road jobs, toward Estates errands that take longer than you told yourself.
School-day empties is the weekday calendar. This page is the hardware that is already on the wall when you first notice the calendar. Arm the system whenever the house is empty, not only after a neighborhood rumor. Occupancy is the product. A floor plan of a bonus room is not. CCPS is A-rated for 2025-26, nine consecutive years. That is a district fact, not a reason the leftover can wait. The mascot does not watch the lanai.
Snowbird calendars hit inland lots too. A 34120 house that is full in February is empty in August with a landscaper code. Arm it. Cellular still matters when FPL or LCEC drops a line. A Wi-Fi-only leftover is a brick when the router dies.
Cellular, FPL or LCEC, and a communicator the builder never put in
Some builder panels have a communicator. Many do not. Some only wait for Wi-Fi that the construction crew used. Storms still take power on these streets once the trees grow up. A professionally installed system with a cellular path can still reach ADT. Ask the question on the quote: if FPL or LCEC drops, can ADT still see the alarm? New construction does not get a pass because the wiring looks clean.
Smart+ plans at $63.99/mo* are popular here because people want the lock and the garage on the same app they arm from the Palmetto Ridge or Golden Gate High pickup line. That is fine. It is still not cameras unless you asked for Complete+. It is still not monitoring until the technician tests it onto ADT. Complete+ at $74.99/mo* is the video-ready promotional plan. You do not have to buy it. Secure+ at $53.99/mo* is still 24/7 ADT.
A leftover DIY kit that only spoke Wi-Fi is a replace conversation. Photograph it. Do not assume the last owner’s app still works because the house has fiber. Fiber does not monitor. ADT does.
What SafeStreets does with a builder leftover on install day
A technician arrives, looks at the panel you photographed, tests the contacts, replaces what is junk, adds what the quote named, and connects ADT. You should be able to arm, disarm, and add a spouse before the truck leaves. If the builder’s motion looks at a ceiling fan, we move it. If the slider never got a contact, we add one. If the utility-room can is a rat’s nest, we clean it up enough to be a system, not a punch list.
We confirm the earliest install window on the (239) 439-6005 call. We do not invent same-day service. Say if you do not occupy until next month. We would rather go live the week you sleep there. An armed empty new-build is still useful if you already own it and furniture is going in. An unarmed leftover while you live there is a keypad pretending.
Yard signs are optional. HOAs sometimes have rules about those too. Ask the board. The monitoring does not depend on the sign. Estates lots with no HOA still do not need a sign to be watched. The sign is not the product.
What we will not do with a builder leftover
We will not tell you the option sheet was ADT. We will not tell you a gate is monitoring. We will not file CCSO paper for you. We will not invent a City of Naples annual user-permit. We will not invent a Marco Island burglar-alarm user-permit dollar amount. We will not hide $53.99*, $99 install*, or 36 months because the keypad was “free.” We will not take a form. We will not take a tenant on the homeowner promotion. We will not mill a one-street plat as a city. We will not mill Fort Myers. We will not mill Naples, New York.
We will not scare-sell inland crime so you will buy twelve cameras. City of Naples proper is a small city with NeighborhoodScout’s 2024 count of 22 violent and 278 property crimes. Greater Collier is a different map. Is Naples safe in 2026 is the dated article. These plats call because the house is empty and the plastic is already there. That is enough. House versus condo, ZIP, cameras yes or no, leftover keypad yes. Occupancy. Not a granite tour.
- Photograph the keypad, the inside of the cover, and the can.
- Do not factory-reset. Do not cancel an 800 number you do not understand.
- Count the lanai, the garage man-door, and any guest house.
- Confirm CCSO registration for unincorporated Collier. Do not file City of Naples paper by default.
- Hear $53.99*, $63.99*, or $74.99*, and the $99 install on many plans.
Punch-list week is still an empty house
The week after closing is when Golden Gate and Estates houses sit with a refrigerator, a leftover keypad, and a note for the window-treatment crew. You are still in the old house, or in a hotel, or back north until school starts. Furniture deliveries prop the garage. The builder’s punch list props the front door. That is occupancy, and it is the opposite of “the alarm was included.” If you already own it, we can often go live before you sleep there. An armed empty new-build with a lockbox for the crews is a conversation. An unarmed leftover while strangers have the garage code is the default, and it is a bad default.
Tell the specialist who has access. Put the builder’s punch person on a temporary code if you must, then delete it. Do not tape the code to the keypad. Do not text it in a group chat that includes the flooring sub’s personal phone forever. Smart+ at $63.99/mo* is how you change a lock code from Immokalee Road without driving back. That is occupancy technology, not a gadget pitch. Ask for it if punch-list week is your week.
Closing Friday and wanting monitoring the week you occupy is a normal call. Waiting until the first school week in August is how you join the queue with every other inland household that had the same idea. Call (239) 439-6005 when you have the keys, not when the first box sits on the garage stoop for ten hours.
Order it the week you get keys, not the week something happens
Call (239) 439-6005 with the three photos. Hear the monthly price, the install, the agreement, and which office to confirm. SafeStreets comes out. ADT watches the house. You deal with Collier Sheriff, the City of Naples false-alarm desk, Marco Island Police, or Bonita Springs based on the address, not based on the builder’s brochure.
The builder hung the plastic. You still have to order the watch. Naples-area homeowners can trust a SafeStreets security system monitored by ADT. Golden Gate, the Estates, North Naples new construction, Ave Maria, and Orangetree are just the plats where the leftover is obvious. The rest of Collier has the same keypad with a different letterhead. Photograph it. Then order. Then arm it for the hours nobody is in the hallway.
